ADAM RADWICK

Adam specializes in tutoring mathematics, in which he earned a B.A. from George Mason University in 2022.  Adam’s teaching experience began in 2017 as a teaching assistant in high school for algebra II.  He continued helping his peers with their math classes until being hired as a learning center instructor in 2020, teaching a wide range of subjects to students of various ages and grade levels.  Adam worked as a learning center instructor for a year and a half before he began to professionally private tutor.

With a strong basis of algebraic skills and knowledge of both calculus and physics, Adam’s incredible passion for mathematics has developed into a love for helping students understand the “why” of how math works.  His time and experience teaching have shown him how true it is that everyone learns differently, and that patience is one of the greatest virtues in teaching, as the definition of “easy” is never the same for any one person.

In high school, Adam took AP Calculus AB, in which he scored a 5; Adam also took AP Physics 1 and 2, both of which he scored a 4 in.  Adam took the SAT in 2018 and scored a 1400 without prior studying, placing him in the 95th percentile for SAT test takers that year; specifically, he scored a 720 in the math section of the SAT, placing him in the 94th percentile for 2018.

Adam graduated from GMU with a GPA of 3.85 and earned A’s in classes such as “Linear Math Modeling”, “Elementary Differential Equations”, “Number Theory”, “Advanced Calculus I”, “Foundations of Geometry”, and “Advanced Linear Algebra”.
