These terms of service outline the rules and regulations for the use of Fairfax Tutors, LLC’s website. By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms of service in full.
The following terminology applies to the terms of service of this website: “client”, “you”, and “your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the company’s terms of service. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our”, and “Us”, refers to Fairfax Tutors, LLC. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to either both the client and ourselves, or the client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance, and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the providing of our service to the client in the most appropriate manner. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular or plural are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
Provided Service
Fairfax Tutors, LLC provides its customers with knowledgeable tutors that will render tutoring towards a specified academic subject. The tutoring service can be conducted in-person or virtually through the software program Zoom, per the customers’ preference and agreement with the tutor. In-person tutoring sessions may be performed in-home or at an agreed-upon public location, such as a library or café.
Fairfax Tutors, LLC hires its tutors as independent contractors. Tutoring availability is subject to the availability of our tutors. All customers must be at least eighteen years of legal age, or otherwise be the parent or guardian of the person to receive tutoring services.
Fairfax Tutors, LLC charges customers per hour tutored or otherwise in 15-minute increments. In-person sessions are set at a minimum of one hour in length in consideration of the tutor’s time. Customers are billed for time tutored biweekly, or every two weeks.
Amendment and Cessation of Services
Fairfax Tutors, LLC reserves the right to modify the pricing, verbiage, and other aspects of the provided service whenever necessary. Additionally, we reserve the right to temporarily or indefinitely cease in the providing of our service without prior notice. All customers thus agree that Fairfax Tutors, LLC shall not be held liable to them or any other party in the event of any modifications or cessation.
Fairfax Tutors, LLC maintains the right to terminate our service to any customer after giving the customer prior notice of such intent; the obligation to provide our service ends upon the delivery of this intent. Additionally, we maintain the right to terminate our service without forewarning should a customer breach our terms of service. Customers maintain the right to terminate their provided service at any time with no need for reason.
Scheduling
Tutoring sessions will be performed during a time agreed upon between the customer and the tutor. Tutors reserve the right to cancel a session due to unanticipated circumstances, which will be rescheduled during an agreeable future time and date. If a tutor is no longer able to continue providing the service for whatever reason, then they maintain the right to cease tutoring, at which point Fairfax Tutors, LLC will strive to find a suitable replacement for the customer and in a timely fashion.
Customers retain the right to cancel a scheduled tutoring session at any given time. Fairfax Tutors, LLC reserves the right to charge customers up to one hour’s worth of tutoring if the customer cancels their session within six hours of the scheduled time.

Most modern-day interactive websites use cookies to enable the retrieval of user details for each visit. Cookies may be used in some areas of our site to enable its functionality and ease the use of those visiting.

Indemnification
Customers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless all members, employees, and independent contractors of Fairfax Tutors, LLC from and against all losses, expenses, damages, costs, claims, and demands, including reasonable attorney’s fees and related costs and expenses which arise from the service.
Fairfax Tutors, LLC reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by customers, and in such case, customers agree to fully cooperate with such defense and in asserting any available defenses.
